2026 Snowmobile Safety Course
Hello everyone! We are hosting a snowmobile safety course this fall. Those born after Jan 1, 1985 must have completed and received a snowmobile safety certificate in order to operate a snowmobile in Wisconsin.
Here is information on the class. Hurry…spots are limited!
Enrollment can be done at (GoWild.WI.gov) once you’ve created a new DNR Customer ID number if the student does not already have one. The snowmobile course enrollment page can then be found on the DNR home page under the safety education tab at the top. Be sure to look for the city of Dane/Waunakee location then click on the enroll tab and fill out the necessary information to hold a spot for the student.
Class limited to 20 students.
In person registration and material handout night is Monday Nov 16th 2025 6-8 pm at 408 Chelsea Way, Dane, WI. Parents can stop in to pick up the materials and pay the fee, $10 (cash only). Please make sure the student can attend both class sessions (Dec. 3rd and 5th) before committing to the course.
